Patrick (or Pat) Jarvis advises individuals, families and businesses in a wide range of financial planning matters. For Michael (Mike) Woods “I always knew I wanted to work in the financial services space,” Mike recollects about his entry into the business. Soon after graduating from Fredonia College in 1993, Mike and a friend packed up their belongings, and left Long Island, New York with an eye to make it in Atlanta. True to his word, Mike found a job in financial services and started learning the trade. Though the company he joined went through a series of changes, Mike stayed the course and over the span of 30 years developed a very successful financial practice. Mike offers comprehensive financial planning to individuals, families, and business owners.

Mike is known for coming into the office by 5:30 AM every morning. He revels in being able to get his best work done in the quiet dawn hours before most people are having their first cup of coffee. As he developed experience as a financial planner, Mike noticed that clients truly appreciated his tenacity, and near-obsessive attention to detail. “I’m the kind of person who has to analyze everything,” he confesses. Thankfully, in his line of work this is a positive attribute. “I love helping our clients to see the big picture,” he adds, “and then to translate that strategy into actionable tactics.”

It just so turns out that with hard work, perseverance, and a solid plan you really can translate a vision into an action.

Mike resides in Marietta with his wife, Kathy, and their son, Alex. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and competitive tennis.
